As a property owner, it’s important to know how much notice you need to give a property management company to end their services. Depending on the agreement you have with your management company, this period can be as short as one week, 3 months, or as long as several months. It is important to read your management agreement carefully so that you know how long you have to give notice. If you can’t find your copy of the agreement, you should talk to your current property manager and ask for one.
